Service

Every Thursday, I attend JCU Lobo Lab with fellow classmates from John Carroll University and other kids from surrounding school districts, primarily being 6th through 8th grade. For most of the service days for the past couple of weeks, there has only been one child who has shown up which has resulted in making reflections for the service of that day difficult to evaluate because of the absences. In the beginning for the first two weeks of service, us JCU students and the children would talk, as a group, about how our week is going and what we are looking forward to. We have also played a couple games of show and tell and the students that run the lobo lab will tell us to grab a specific color item and talk about it. I look forward to service each week and hopefully more students show up in the future meetings!
